STAY SAFE
Some of you may remember in the early days of Covid 19 I posted videos and wrote letters to elected officials urging people to wear masks when Fauci was saying it was not necessary to wear masks unless you were a health care worker.
This time round I’m urging people to wear their masks when outside of direct pod, whether or not you have been fully vaccinated or have already had Covid 19 —and even though the CDC said that fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks around other fully vaccinated people in small groups.
Stay safe!
Many people I know have gotten Covid this month and it has been all consuming.
I will be back with Wednesday programming soon on ChannelELSTER
Thank you for coming by today. More to come.
STAY SAFE

Patti Smith performs Because the Night at the Anthology Film Archives Fundraiser. Fantastic performance by Patti and a wonderful tribute to Jonas Mekas. Video by Jennifer Elster
I was going to post Jonas Mekas, who is now deceased, doing a piece on Allen Ginsberg’s death, and then I decided that it was just too sad, and today feels as if a break into a new day for some reason.
So instead I am sharing a photograph of a llama I took in Tribeca, which also seems kind of sad in a way, but it made so many children happy. And it made me happy too. Thought it might make you happy. I love NYC.
