Jennifer Elster is a native New Yorker and multifaceted artist—writer, director, filmmaker, photographer, musician, and performer—whose work addresses the human condition and current world crises with raw intensity and sophistication. Drawing from her challenging upbringing, she employs innovative problem-solving to explore pressing issues through exhibitions like The Retrospective of an Extroverted Recluse and The Wake The Fck Up Show*, which blend various media, including photography, video, and performance art. A graduate of NYU with a degree in writing and psychology, Elster is the founder of The Development, an art studio and gallery in New York City, and has received accolades for her films showcased at major festivals and on platforms like Sundance Channel and Netflix.

MIKE HANDELMAN

Guitarist

Mike Handelman is a versatile guitarist known for his mastery of rock, blues, funk, and R&B, regularly performing across the five boroughs, Long Island, and New Jersey. He has recorded albums with the artist Jennifer Elster and the rock band We Eat Monsters, showcasing his dynamic range and musical prowess. Combining his musical talent with years of professional acting and producing experience, Mike continues to push creative boundaries both on stage and in the studio.

Eimi Tanaka is a versatile pianist, composer, and educator based in New York City, with extensive training in classical and jazz music. She has performed at numerous venues in Boston and NYC, and her compositions have been featured in film festivals and television shows on CBS and the CW. With degrees from Berklee College of Music and NYU, Eimi has also worked in various music industry roles, collaborating with renowned artists and contributing to the vibrant music scene.

CHRIS NORTH COLTON

Pianist

Chris North Colton is a New York City-based jazz pianist and model, known for his unique blend of music and fashion. Discovered on the streets of Soho, Colton quickly rose to prominence in the modeling world, landing high-profile gigs like the Prada show in Milan. Musically, he is an accomplished jazz pianist, drawing inspiration from modern jazz icons such as Joshua Redman and Robert Glasper, while also collaborating with bands like Caverns and contributing to the fusion of jazz with contemporary and experimental music styles.

Trevor Gureckis

Pianist

Trevor Gureckis is an award-winning composer and producer known for his innovative fusion of classical and electronic music. Based in New York City, he frequently collaborates with director M. Night Shyamalan, scoring projects like the Apple TV+ series Servant and the film Old. A versatile artist, Gureckis also composed for the 2023 remake of Dead Space and released his solo album Corte in 2019.

Sugar Vendil

Sugar Vendil (she/they) is a pioneering composer and interdisciplinary artist redefining the artistic landscape as a second-generation Filipinx American. Based in Brooklyn, Vendil combines sound, movement, and improvisation in her work, which includes the keyboard/synth duo Vanity Project with Trevor Gureckis. A recipient of multiple grants and commissions, her projects highlight her kinesthetic approach and artistic autonomy across music, performance, and visual scores.
